Each summer, Victory Junction recruits a diverse staff of exceptional individuals to form our seasonal summer staff. Take part in the magic of camp as we uphold our Core Values and give unforgettable camp experiences to amazing campers.
Program Specialist is a paid position with a weekly salary, along with meals and housing provided for the entire summer. They are identified as Program Counselors who are trained to set up/facilitate/break down their activity areas for our campers each day of programming. We have different areas where specialists can apply, including creative arts, sports & recreation, and our theater program. They will collaborate with their teammate to plan intentional activities for each camp session and make adaptations based on the populations we see each week.
When not in their assigned program areas, program counselors will assist campers with activities of daily living (such as showering, changing clothes, wheelchair transfers, etc.), provide support and encouragement at different activities, and ensure the health, safety, and overall well-being of our campers.
