Digital Content & Social Media Intern

About the Role

Techsgiving is seeking a motivated and creative Digital Content & Social Media Intern to support our growing digital marketing efforts. You’ll help implement social media campaigns, draft engaging content, monitor platform activity, and grow our digital footprint throughout the 2025 calendar year. This is an ideal opportunity for students or emerging professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing and digital strategy.

What You’ll Do

Assist in drafting and posting content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and Facebook

Help manage the content calendar and scheduling using tools like Buffer or Hootsuite

Research trending topics, hashtags, and creative ideas for engagement

Monitor social platform activity and flag opportunities for community interaction

Support content creation (graphics, video, captions, stories, etc.)

Collaborate with the Engagement Lead and Marketing team to align messaging

You’ll Thrive If You Are

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field

Creative and enthusiastic about social media, branding, and storytelling

Organized, self-directed, and eager to learn

Familiar with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook

Able to commit to weekly check-ins and task deadlines
